Why we build them
The data behind moving is missing, not secret
Ask a simple question — what may I import into this country without duty, which mover actually covers this corridor, how many cubic metres is a three-room flat — and the honest answer is that nobody publishes it in one place.
Freight has the same problem one level up: rates are quoted privately, lanes are described vaguely, and comparison is deliberately hard.
We have been on the other side of that argument for a long time. We were among the first in this trade to put freight prices and a working calculator on a public page, back when quoting openly was treated as giving the game away. It was not. Customers came, and so did the search engines.
So we keep publishing. It costs us nothing to be the reference, and it keeps our own quoting honest.
