UK freight forwarding & transport data

Freight, answered.

Most forwarders reply to an enquiry with more questions. We reply with a number — a rate, a transit time and a date it is valid until.

What we do

Four things, done properly

We move commercial cargo and household goods, we build the systems that price and document both, and we keep all of it in the same company.

Air freight

Standard, express and consolidated. Airport to airport or door to door, with customs handled through accredited partners at both ends.

Sea & road

FCL and LCL, port to port or door to door. Full and part loads across Europe, priced on the same rails as the air side.

Moving & relocation

Household goods and personal effects, door to door. Customs on personal imports is its own discipline — we have been building the reference data for it for years.

Transport data

We build and run the pricing systems behind our own quotes — and open them up as public portals for the rest of the market.

Why the answer comes back faster

We priced the lane before you asked

In air freight a spot rate often holds for only a few days, and the forwarder who answers first wins a disproportionate share of the business. Speed is not a nice-to-have in this trade. It is the product.

  • Your route is resolved to airport codes and chargeable weight automatically — no one retypes it.
  • We hold our own cost picture for the lanes we work, so the first reply is a number.
  • Every quote carries a transit time and a validity date. No open-ended estimates.
  • We own no equipment, so we have no reason to push cargo onto the wrong mode.

Firm rate

Not "from" pricing. A number you can put in front of your customer.

Transit time

Realistic, with the routing that produces it.

Valid until

You always know how long the price stands.

Who is behind it

Coserva is new. The work behind it started in 1997.

Our founder began in freight forwarding in the late 1990s, as an administrator of one of the first online freight exchanges in the region — the kind of system forwarders now take for granted.

Then fleet telematics: co-founding a company fitting GPS tracking and fuel control to hauliers' trucks, later running a telecoms department doing the same at scale. Then two decades of building web and data systems — during which the clients who kept coming back were, almost without exception, transport companies.

Along the way, moving and relocation became a second thread: pricing engines, volume calculators and country-by-country customs references for household goods — built because that information is scattered across the industry and almost never published in one place.

We stopped resisting it. Coserva is that circle closing: the freight, the fleet data, the relocation references and the pricing systems in one company, run for our own account.

Questions we get before the first shipment

What do you need from me to quote?

Origin and destination, gross weight and dimensions, cargo type and ready date. An Incoterm if you have one. That is enough for a firm rate on most lanes.

Are you a carrier?

No. We own no trucks, ships or aircraft. We are a forwarder, which means we are free to put your cargo on whatever equipment actually suits it.

How fast is the first reply?

Hours, not days, on standard cargo. Dangerous goods, oversize, temperature-controlled and charter work take longer because they have to be agreed with the terminal — we will tell you which one you are in.

Do you handle customs?

Yes, through accredited partners at both ends. We do not hold ourselves out as a customs representative inside the EU.
